About In the box

In the box is a blog about system administration, business, Open Source, and web application development. It is powered by WordPress.

We use the WP-Footnotes, Akismet, and WP-Syntax plugins, and a custom theme inspired by Darren Hoyt’s Mimbo theme.

Interstitial photographs are predominantly provided by the American Memory project of the US Library of Congress.

Screenshots are generally taken by the author and are copyrighted by their creator.

Icons are mostly from the Tango project, though some are custom created in the Tango style and palette by Joe Cooper.

    Looking for parts 2 thru n of your series about “Doing Email Right”

    Search only finds 1 article on smtp. Did you write any followup articles? The architectural perspective was exactly what I was looking for, so hoping you went on to describe other elements as you did in the 1st article.
